Tribune entitled “The role of the Kingdom of Yugoslavia in the air mail connection between Southeast Europe and North and South America, 1939-1941.” was held on September 24, 2024 at the PTT Museum in Belgrade, at 13 Majke Jevrosime Street, starting at 6 p.m. The lecturer was Mr. Ratomir Živković.
Ratomir Živković, a prominent philatelist and researcher, who for many years has been dedicated to the research of the air mail of the Kingdom of Yugoslavia, has exhibited his works at international philatelic exhibitions. His works have been published in numerous prestigious philatelic magazines around the world, and he is also a contributor to the Serbian philatelic magazine “Filatelista”. At the World Exhibition in New York in 2016, he won a large gold medal and a special award for his contribution to research in the aforementioned field. He currently lives and works in the USA.
This forum is part of a series of lectures on the postal history of Serbia and Yugoslavia, which is held within the framework of the cooperation of the Union of Philatelists of Serbia, the Post of Serbia and the PTT Museum in order to promote the national cultural heritage in the field of philately.
