The International Philatelic Exhibition “BALKANFILA XXI 2026” was held from April 29 to May 2, 2026 at the House of Culture in Pernik, Bulgaria, as one of the most important regional events in the field of philately. The exhibition was organized by the Union of Bulgarian Philatelists, the Municipality of Pernik, the Regional Administration of Pernik and the “Bulgarian Post”, with the institutional support of the Ministry of Transport and Communications and the City of Sofia.

Serbian exhibitors achieved the following results:

1. Zoran Stepanović – Postal stationery of The Kingdom of Yugoslavia 1920 – 1941, 90 points, grand gold medal in the postal unit class
2. Ivan Tangl – Postal service in Novi Sad till 1871, 90 points in the postal history class
3. Ivan Tangl – Military censorship in Ujvidek / Novi Sad during WWI, 88 points in the postal history class
4. Svetislav D. Jelić – Yugoslavia definitive issues “POSTAL SERVICES” 1986 – 1993, 88 points, gold medal with special award for research in the class traditional philately
5. Milan Radovanović – Russian Aid to Serbia in the Great War, 80 points, large gold medal in the class literature
6. Boris Vlajnić – Postal Service in the Republic Serbien Krajina 1991–1995, 77 points in the class postal history
7. Goran Suša – “More than a game” – football in Serbia 1903 – 2023, 63 points in the class open philately
